INGREDIENTS
4 pc chicken thigh or legs
1/4 cup calamansi or lemon juice
Salt
Pepper
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup banana ketchup
1/2 cup sugar
6 cloves garlic minced
2 cups 7 up or sprite
METHOD
1. Clean the chicken and pat dry with paper towel. Season the chicken with salt and set aside for 10 minutes.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine together the soy sauce, calamansi, banana ketchup, sugar, garlic, pepper, 7 up or sprite.
3. Stir them well making sure that everything mixed together. Then add the chicken and marinate it overnight put in refrigerator.
4. Remove the chicken pieces. In a pan pour in the marinade and bring to boil and simmer for 7 minutes or until the syrup thicken already. Use that for basting the chicken while u grilling it.
5. Grill the chicken for 13 to 15 minutes each side.
