This recipe is so simple and easy to make, with just few ingredients you can have a dish that is so delicious. I love to serve my steak with salad and mash potato.
INGREDIENTS
2 pc New York strip or Ribeye steak
Salt
Pepper
Thyme
Rosemary
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp mustard
METHOD
1. Pat dry the steak with paper towel.
2. Season it with salt and pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes then rubbed the mustard and pour in the olive oil. Set aside for 15.minutes.
3. In cast iron skillet melt the butter in medium - high heat. If the butter melted already put in the rosemary and thyme and cook for 1minute.
4. Using a metal tongs place the steak into the skillet and press down on top surface to ensure that the entire bottom of the steak is on direct contact to the skillet.
5. Cook for 3 minutes each sides.
6. Transfer to a serving plate and put mustard on top of the steak and serve with salad.
