This is a Filipino dish that is so easy to make yet u will find it very delicious.You will like its cruchiness and a little bit soft in the middle part. It is best serve with garlicky vinegar (sukang my bawang) and with rice.You can serve it also as an appetizer.
INGREDIENTS
3 pcs of cassava (grated)
5 cloves garlic minced
1 big onion finely chopped
Pepper
Salt
1 egg
Coriander leaves finely chopped
250 g minced chicken /pork/beef
For the garlic vinegar
1 cup of cane/white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 cloves garlic minced
1/2 tsp sugar
Just mix all together, you can add red fresh chillies.
METHOD
1. Peel the cassava and wash.
2. Grate the cassava and add in the garlic, onion, coriander leaves, salt, pepper, egg and your choice of meat.
3. Mix it well to be well combine.
4. In a pan heat the oil in medium heat. Form a ball safe from the mixture and fry until it turns golden brown or crispy. You may also.flatten the middle part of the meatball to become like a patties.
5. Put in a strainer to drain excess oil. Serve with garlic vinegar.
