This is a very easy recipe.In just 20 minutes u will have a delicious scones.You can customized it by adding fruits or nuts.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups self raising flour
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
3/4 cup butter
120 g milk
METHOD
1. Pre heat the oven to 220C.
2. In a mixing bowl mix the flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon stir it well to be well combine.
3. In a seperate bowl mix the egg and milk and vanilla..Slowly pour in to the flour mixture.Stir well
4. Trasfer the mixture into a lightly floured surface and knead it quickly until smooth.
5. Roll it out to the thickness you want.Using a cookie cutter (defends on your desired size) Cut the dough and place it to a lightly floured tray.
6. Brush the dough with milk and sprinkle with a little bit of flour on top.
7. Bake for 10-12 mins or until it turns brown
